White hair

O ne day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head.

She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked, 'Why are some of your hairs white, Mum?'

Her mother replied, 'Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white.'

The little girl thought about this revelation for a while and then said, 'Mummy, how come ALL of grandma's hairs are white?'

Primary school question

A primary school teacher was having trouble with one of her student.

The teacher asked, "Harry, what is your problem?"

Harry answered, "I'm too smart for the Primary 1.

My sister is in Primary 3 and I'm smarter than she is! I think I should be in Primary 3 too!"

The teacher took Harry to the principal's office.

While Harry waited in the outer office, the teacher explained to the principal what the situation was. The principal told the teacher he would give the boy a test and if he failed to answer any of his questions he was to go back to the Primary 1, and behave. The teacher agreed.

Harry was brought in. The conditions were explained, and Harry agreed to take the test.

Principal: "What is 3 x 3?"

Harry: "9"

Principal: "What is 6 x 6?”

Harry: "36"?

And so it went with every question the principal thought a Primary 1 student should know. The principal looks at the teacher and tells her “I think Harry can go to Primary 3."

The teacher says to the principal, "May I ask him some tougher questions?"

The principal and Harry both agree.

Teacher: "What does a cow have four of that I have only two?"

Harry: "Legs."

Teacher: "What is in your pants that you have but I do not have?"

(The principal wondered, why does she ask such a question!)

Harry: "Pockets."

Teacher: "What does a dog do that a man steps into?"

Harry: "Pants."

Teacher: "What's starts with a C and ends with a T, and it is hairy, oval, delicious and contains thin whitish liquid?"

(The principal's e open really wide and before he could stop the answer....)

Harry: "Coconut."

Teacher: "What goes in hard and pink then comes out soft and sticky?"

Harry: "Bubblegum."

Teacher: "What does a man do standing up, a woman do sitting down and dog do on three legs?"

He talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world.

Rule 1: Life is not fair - get used to it!

Rule 2: The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.

Rule 9: Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that on your own time.

Rule 10: Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.

Rule 11: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.

Brian invited his mother over for dinner.
During the course of the meal, Brian's mother couldn't help but keep
noticing how beautiful Brian's roommate, Stephanie, was.

Brian's Mom had long been suspicious of a relationship between Brian and
Stephanie, and this had only made her more curious.
Over the course of the evening, while watching the two react, she started to wonder if there was more between Brian and Stephanie than met the eye.
Reading his mom's thoughts, Brian volunteered, "I know what you must be
thinking, but I assure you Stephanie and I are just roommates."

About a week later, Stephanie came to Brian saying, "Ever since your mother came to dinner, I've been unable to find the beautiful silver gravy ladle. You don't suppose she took it, do you?" Brian said, "Well, I
doubt it, but I'll send her an e-mail just to be sure". So he sat down and wrote:

"Dear Mom: I'm not saying that you "did" take the gravy ladle from
the house; I'm not saying that you "did not" take the gravy ladle. But the fact remains that one has been missing ever since you were here for dinner.

Several days later, Brian received an email back from his mother that read:

The lawyer asked, “What is the Texas Three-Kick Rule?”

The farmer replied, “Well, first I kick you three times and then you kick me three times, and so on, back and forth, until someone gives up.”

The attorney quickly thought about the proposed contest and decided that he could easily take the old codger. He agreed to abide by the local custom.

The old farmer slowly climbed down from the tractor and walked up to the city feller. His first kick planted the toe of his heavy work boot into the lawyer’s groin and dropped him to his knees. His second kick nearly wiped the man’s nose off his face. The barrister was flat on his belly when the farmer’s third kick to a kidney nearly caused him to give up.

Each man gives a story

Three men were standing in line to get into heaven one day. Apparently it had been a pretty busy day, though, so Peter had to tell the first one, "Heaven's getting pretty close to full today, and I've been asked to admit only people who have had particularly horrible deaths. So what's your story?"

So the first man replies: "Well, for a while I've suspected my wife has been cheating on me, so today I came home early to try to catch her red-handed. As I came into my 25th floor apartment, I could tell something was wrong, but all my searching around didn't reveal where this other guy could have been hiding. Finally, I went out to the balcony, and sure enough, there was this man hanging off the railing, 25 floors above ground! By now I was really mad, so I started beating on him and kicking him, but wouldn't you know it, he wouldn't fall off. So finally I went back into my apartment and got a hammer and starting hammering on his fingers. Of course, he couldn't stand that for long, so he let go and fell -- but even after 25 stories, he fell into the bushes, stunned but okay. I couldn't stand it anymore, so I ran into the kitchen, grabbed the fridge and threw it over the edge where it landed on him, killing him instantly. But all the stress and anger got to me, and I had a heart attack and died there on the balcony."

"That sounds like a pretty bad day to me," said Peter, and let the man in.

The second man comes up and Peter explains to him about heaven being full, and again asks for his story.

"It's been a very strange day. You see, I live on the 26th floor of my apartment building, and every morning I do my exercises out on my balcony. Well, this morning I must have slipped or something, because I fell over the edge. But I got lucky, and caught the railing of the balcony on the floor below me. I knew I couldn't hang on for very long, when suddenly this man burst out onto the balcony. I thought for sure I was saved, when he started beating on me and kicking me. I held on the best I could until he ran into the apartment and grabbed a hammer and started pounding on my hands. Finally I just let go, but again I got lucky and fell into the bushes below, stunned but all right. Just when I was thinking I was going to be okay, this refrigerator comes falling out of the sky and crushes me instantly, and now I'm here."

Once again, Peter had to concede that that sounded like a pretty horrible death.

The third man came to the front of the line, and again Peter explained that heaven was full and asked for his story.

"Picture this," says the third man, "I'm hiding inside a refrigerator..."

Well, i dun think many of you r interested in an adventurous outing with a lot of walking and cycling on off road track.. which means, muddy ground,, uphill downhill... left right... wild boar... etc n stuff.... So, pulau ubin is eliminated... N btw, if rain... then *_*....

So, this time outing, gonna b easy for evryone.... we'll just go ther... sit, play, play and play... N btw, food is not provided cuz evrytime food is always one big problem to settle... Well, bout the outing, I dunno wheter u people are ON about it, but, yea... So, here R e places that we've got so far,

1) Hort Park - Basically, it's a park... So, we can just sit, talk, fool around, disturb e environment, etc, etc

2) Marina Barrage - Basically an open space where we can sit, talk, fool around, disturb e environment, etc, etc...

3) Pulau Ubin - This one is quite tough, cuz there are lot of places N stuff around. We need sum1 hu is familiar to this place to cum along... N most imortantly, we have to leave before 5 cuz e boat service end at 5... Unless, u all wan stay overnight or swim over than, another story..

4) Malaysia (KL, JB, etc...) - I duno wheter those people r serious anot, but, we can put it as an option... Again, dunno where to go, cuz I'm not familiar with it... So, sum1 better give a proper suggestion for it... Btw, those hu r not ASEAN country citizen must go apply visa ah...

Btw, do you all prefer to have sumkind of 'picnic' like our outing at Sentosa last time, or we shuld just bring our own food or sth??? OR, any suggestion????

Results of 2008 O Level Examination will be released at 2 p.m. next Monday (12-1-09).

Last year's 4E and 5N students are to report to the school hall (the one at Bukit Batok West Ave 8. Dun go back to Toh Tuck Terace as there is nobody there already) by 1.50 p.m. on 12-1-09.

Pls be properly attired (short hair without any coloured dye, wear school uniform) or else you may receive your results last.

Information on upcoming CHALET!

Date: 25th-27th November (Tuesday to Thursday)
Meeting place: Pasir Ris MRT (Hang around there if you're early)
Time: 2.30pm SHARP, cos we'll be taking a shuttle bus! (Those latecomers like me, please be out earlier, cos if you're late, we'll leave without you and you have to find your own way there)

What to bring (VERY IMPORTANT!!! And take note of those with a *)

*MONEY (Bring at least $50 cos we only provide you on the 2nd day (BBQ night) since so many people backed out in the last minute)
*Swimming costume (We'll be going to Wild Wild Wet, another reason for you to bring extra cash)
*Your clothes (Necessary for all days, bring 4 tops and 4 bottoms, but it's up to you la)
For night time, if you cannot stand the cold temperature, then bring a blanket or jacket. And if you MUST have something to sleep on, then bring a pillow or sleeping bag loh. But I guarantee that we won't sleep la.
*Your undergarments! (And please don't leave around your dirty laundry anywhere around the resort cos it's unhygienic. People might get grossed out and throw me away, well that's what I'll do)
For girls, sanitary pad (If you're having you're period. Like your undergarments, please dispose your pads properly)
*Toiletries which includes your soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo
Preferred if you wear sandals cos we're gonna do a lot of walking. But you can bring a pair of slippers where you can wear at the resort.
Camera.
Snacks/crackers/cup noodles (In case you get hungry there at night and everyone's asleep)
Poker cards or games (e.g. Twister). (Anyone have, can bring la)
BRING YOURSELF! You better.

And please, NO LAST MINUTE BACK OUT. Cos we already use all the money, and there's no leftover of them, SO NO REFUND! The bottomline is, you better present yourself there. And here's a list of what we might be doing there also. (It's all up to you to decide and all la. And majority wins okay?)

Yes, it's gonna be the last week of school this coming week. Some of you might be jumping for joy or vice-versa. Though, there's really so much I need to ask/tell you guys.

First and foremost, last week of school is already approaching, and there's certainly very few chances for us, 4E5 to really bond. With the whole 'petition thing' going on (which have seriously brought our class apart), I just hope that things will turn out better between us all. Not only that, best friends become foes/enemies all becos of stupid reasons (reflecting on myself also)? Remember this, we're already classmates for 2 years now! We've known each other since Secondary 3! Some of us have even been classmates since Secondary 1. Don't you guys remember all the good times we all shared as a class? The class outing, birthday bashes, 'the day when we all brought our thermometer', Teachers' Day Celebration? This is the time where we as a class unite or else, it'll all be too late. Please, what's done is done, let bygones be bygones, forgive and forget and lastly, NO more hatred among each other. I really hope the relationship (not just that, EVERYTHING) among us, 4E5 will go back as per normal again.

Come, teachers are already disappointed enough with us, what more the principal (last week on Friday, the talk, ring any bell)? If this continues, how the hell are we gonna work together for Prom Night performance? Prom Night and chalet will then be meaningless to all of us. Do you really wanna leave secondary school with horrible memories and treat each other as strangers?

Speaking of chalet, and with all these going on, do you all still want it?

I know, you might be thinking, that I'm acting all God here and some of you might not even care. But my motives are really sincere and I mean well. I don't mean to offend anyone here (but if I did, then I'm sorry). I just hope that our relationship as CLASSMATES will remain like last time and not like now, rocky. Right now, of course, O Levels will be everyone's main priority, and it's time to prove the teachers and principal wrong! 4E5, WE CAN DO IT!

Hey hey hey 4e5-ians, my dear classmates!

OK, about the class chalet.

Location: Costa Sands East Coast
Date: 24th November to 26th November
Cost: $20 each

Yes yes, to clear your doubts, we changed the location to East Coast Chalet because the total cost is much much cheaper than Downtown East Chalet. So I'll be booking 2 rooms cos about 28 people confirmed going and the duration of stay is 3D2N. The first night, probably we'll have pizza and the 2nd night BBQ. Lunch we cant provide for you, you have to bring crackers or some unhealthy food YOURSELF.

Please drop off some RELEVANT comments and opinions about the activities we'll be doing there whether its night activities or day activities. I know this sound so kiasu of me to plan this SUPER early but i really have no choice. O levels will be in a few weeks' time and everyone will be so stress to be thinking of all these. So once again, I really need ur full cooperation and pay by next week so that I can pay the booking fee as early as possible. Btw, we have some birthdays to celebrate. hehehehehehe..

I jus checed out e price for e new tee... I've decided not to use HOT PINK cuz some people dun like it... So, instead I choose neutral colour tat most of us will prefer to (i hope so..).... I decided to put on Black with lime green (actually, it's not lime green,,,, should b brighter than tat... It'll b brighter than e green colour of traffic lite... For exact colour, it'll look like e NIKE T-SHIRT on e outside wall of QUENSWAY SHOPIN CENTRE,,,,)Dun worry about it too much,,, I gonna confirm evrythin jus after skul re-open...

I've checked e range of prices
1) A logo on left chest N all names at e back (about 2-3 colours: min $25)
2) A logo on left chest ONLY (it'll look like e giordano / polo t-shirt... With e black N lime green.. This will cost about $15)

Well, d diffrent quite big, so I dunno which one to chose... Personally, I'll take e one with LOGO ONLY... First, of cuz e price... N also to prevent any problem with e name at e back (cuz there will b 39 names ter)...

Our class doesn seem to improve in behaviour till now. Well, quite sad la, we r ald sec 4... express stream le...

We should reflect about our sickening and pathetic behaviour of our class.... ( learn from mistake N improve it ) The obvious one... is OBVIOUSLY Ms. Lau. Yeah, her attitude towards us this week was damn sux N I know some of you wan to throw your shoes at her face... C'mon la... we gave her such a worse behaviour for the past 1 year+... How many of you always hand in your work in time? (This is not meant to be sarcastic la) How many of you pay attention while she's teaching? Put urself in her shoes and u'll understand loh.... Enough of this la.... I know English is boring ( I do think so), but do we hav a choice??

Next, to be frank..... Our class mentality is almost the same like a dog, u know? (again, not to be sarcaastic).... A dog only respect its owner and it will only do HIS command - dun care others. WE, 4e5, only respect Mr. Quek - I shouldn use RESPECT actually.... We r just afraid of his scolding that we do all his work N pay attention during his lesson... AGREE??? We are jus afraid of his loud shouting that we behave well evrytime he's around... AGREE?? We are jus afraid that he will send us to the stage that we wear proper scholl attire, etc... AGREE??? So, jus the same rite??

We sholdn do this la... A few monts left and we stil give all teachers a hard time... I should say, not all of us do this... But as a class, we should take all the blame together rite??? Yes again, Farrah here. Sorry for the very very late update on the Class Outing. Scold me all you want loh. Thanks ahhh Francis. Grrrrr :@

Alright the Class Outing, it was of course, successful and also unsuccessful. Why? Successful cos more than 20 of you guys made it :) THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I appreciate it. And not successful cos the whole class didn't make it. As in some of them didn't come lah. Soooo irritating. Stop it sia with the excuses. Arghhhh! Especially Shiva! Super angry with you lohh. Errghhh! These people deserve and should be doing detention! Hahaha!

So yeah, at least Francis made it right *roll eyes* (even though Hui Min claimed that she had tuition) *SMACKS ASS* Trust me to be mad at him for nothing, and you better apologize to me for playing that stupid prank lohh. Okay this is sooo personal. Hahaha!

And one thing I hated was that, some were going to other places like the Luge or the Sky Ride, or the makan place! DAMN IRRITATING bodohhhhhh! The purpose for the outing is to bond and have fun together. And people had other plans and keep asking what time they can go back and all :( Hurts me soo badly. Yeah right ...

Oh yeah, should thank Idayu also ... For generously volunteering to be the photographer of the day :P Hahaha! And also, some pictures are taken by Daphne or Celine but with Celine's camera. Credit goes to these people lahh.

Alright, again, I'm here updating about Class Teeeee.

Sad to say that it won't be a polo tee anymore, and it'll be a round neck tee. Don't worry, won't be as big as the current one. Lol -.-' And oh, it's cost around 10 bucks and more. Should be less than 20 bucks uhh. Yesssss ahhhh.

And the colours are here.

Green. Kinda ugly to me :P

Blue looks okay lah.

The hot pink which is more to hot pink.

The hot pink which is more to red.
So yeah, the tee will have either your name ♥ 4E5 or I ♥ 4E5 in front and then Celine's design of all our names on the back. The design shown on the earlier blogpost.

So the front will be something like this lah.

But the t-shirt base won't be of this colour lah. Can? Can right? But then if you choose like colour hot pink for the base, then I think the heart, in fact the whole phrase will be black in colour. I think. And I think hot pink goes nice with black. Green always look sucky. Blue, err, no comments. Hehe.

Alright, alright, Farrah here.

Yes, cross country was fun for us today. Hehehe. Despite the fact that we didn't win the Best Class award, grr :@ I know, I'm a sore loser. Blah blah blah. Whatever lah. Okie, but we won overall best class among the secondary 4 faculty. *A round of applause for 4E5* Hehehe :)

And ohh, Congratulations to winners too, for making 4E5 sooo proud :) Namely, Haqiz for getting 4th, Matthew for getting 9th and last but not least, Norman for making it in the top 15th! :DDD

Girls too, Daphne and Ma Xin, congrats!

To others also, for trying their very best in the run to make 4E5 proud. It's not easy lah. Heheh.

Giving out of prizes was definitely fun, but not for our class chairperson, Fransis! Where is your class spirit? And Chen Yu also! Grrr :@ Many others. But I'm too lazy to name them :P Heheh. Lol. And ohh, yes, back to the prize thing. Yes, 4E5 stood up to actually support and cheer for our classmates! Soooo cute right? Hehe :)
